libzeta

libzeta, also known as Zeta Library, is a C++ library which can be used to calculate zeta potentials for ka > 6 from electrophoretic mobilities measured at the stationary level or from apparent zeta potentials displayed by zetameter (estimated by Smoluchowski equation). Apparent mobilities measured at 3 different levels in a rectangular electrophoretic cell (aspect ratio > 4) can be used to calculate the zeta potential (parabola method).

You can use the library to incorporate it into your own programs. However, several programs already exist, which provide good front-ends for most of the library's functionality. These include Zeta for Windows and Zeta Command Line.

There is a mailing list for Zeta Library users. If you subscribe, you will receive messages when new versions are released. To subscribe or unsubscribe, please go to this page.

Zeta Library is free software distributed under the terms of GNU GPL.
